Lockheed Martin Lobby Day*

Description:
Lockheed Martin is one of the largest leading global aerospace, defense, security and advanced technology company. Its products range from F-22 Raptors, Aegis Combat System, Mars Phoenix Lander, and Falcon HTV-2 that travels through Earth’s atmosphere at Mach 20. Beside the defense and aerospace related products, Lockheed Martin is also cultivating its capabilities in fields ranging from renewable energy to life sciences. More information can be found here.

Lockheed Martin will be hosting its Lobby Day, a day of technology exhibits, demonstrations, and presentations showcasing the wide range of opportunities Lockheed Martin has to offer, on Monday of Fifth Week.

Bring in your resume to enter raffle drawing, limited to UCLA students only, and enjoy the free food and stuff provided by the company.

Description:
Interested in working for one of the largest defense, aerospace and advance technology company in the world?  Lockheed Martin, the company behind C-130 Hercules, the Mars Odyssey and more, will be hosting an information session on Tuesday of Fifth Week.

At the information session, Lockheed representatives will be introducing the company, its mission and its people. In addition, the company is currently looking for college students and graduates in areas such as computer science and electrical engineering. So remember to bring your resume.

UCLA IEEE Halloween Mixer/Mini Project

Engineering IV Patio

6:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Description:
What should Halloween be for an engineering student who finished the first round of midterms? Should it be free food that takes up table after table? Candies measured not by the handful but by the pumpkin full? A mini project to keep your engineering spirit high after a barrage of midterms? Come to the IEEE Halloween Mixer and enjoy all of them. There will be costumes, music, pumpkin carving and celebration of a day where dressing up as Master Chief is to be praised. Remember; wake him when you need him.

Research Opportunity with a Neurobiology Associate Professor
Description:
Associate Professor Joshua Trachtenberg, PhD., an Associate Professor of Neurobiology, is currently looking for an undergraduate to assist him in designing simple circuit boards.

Professor Trachtenberg’s research focuses on understanding the cellular and circuit-wide mechanisms that underlie the acquisition and consolidation of memories in the cortex.
