Winter General Meeting #1: Resume Peer Review

Description:
Kicking off the new quarter, UCLA IEEE will be hosting a resume peer review workshop to help you organize and improve your resume. A Career Center representative will be giving a presentation on resume writing and the representative will be helping participants review their resumes. Further details will be available.

Description:
Anheuser-Busch Inc. is the leading American brewer, holding 48.5 percent share of U.S. beer sales, brewing Budweiser and Bud Light. The company is also a major manufacturer and one of the world’s largest recycler of aluminum cans. Anheuser-Busch is currently looking for an electrical engineer (details can be found here, search for RJ-2012-1466):
·         Bachelor’s degree in EE completed by Dec. 2012
·         Minimum GPA (cumulative): 2.8
·         Able and willing to work a rotation 12-hour schedule

Hiring Electronics Tutor

Description:
Currently, a family living in Santa Monica is looking for an engineering tutor for elementary student interested in electronics, mechanics, chemicals. The following is the full message:

“I am looking for someone who can teach basic engineering to a very curious 7 year old. This person would have to be able to explain things in a simple manner and to be willing to let her solder, connect wires, and do a lot of the creating, as she learns best through doing.
We live in Santa Monica, but we are willing to travel. 25 per hour and as homeschoolers our schedule is very flexible.”
