Week 1 Announcement

Hi everyone!

We hope you all are having an amazing UCLA experience so far! Thanks for coming out during Engineering Welcome Day and registering at our table. Fall is a great time to be involved in our activities, enrich your engineering experiences, and meet your fellow engineers. We have a large number of hands-on projects, company infosessions, and other fun events lined up for you. To hear about how you can enroll in our projects come to our First General Meeting this Wednesday!

Joint Welcome Picnic [BEAM, IEEE, AIAA]

Description:
Join us this Sunday and our friends, BEAM and AIAA, for our Welcome Picnic! This is a fun social event where you can meet new friends of different engineering backgrounds. This is a FREE event and we will be providing FREE FOOD as well!

Don't miss this great opportunity to hear Brian Lewis, Senior Fellow from Lockheed Martin, speak about Geo Spatial Systems! Brian’s technical forte is centered in the geospatial domain. He is an innovative force at Lockheed Martin and has developed many powerful technical presentation materials in support of Lockheed Martin business efforts including videos shown at major international conferences. We will also have free food at the tech talk!

Learn about the annual IEEE micromouse program and get involved in learning about robotics. Students will learn many important concepts such as embedded systems, sensor fusion, and PID control. Come by and check us out!

IEEE Open Projects Space (OPS) Meeting #1

Learn about the IEEE OPS Program! The OPS program provides a series of tutorials that will provide you with valuable hands on experience working with electronics, from simple analog circuits to building your own PCB.

Description:
If you like to find out more information about NATCAR this year, please come to one of the following infosessions where we'll introduce you to the lab and explain how you can get involved!
