Workshop on LaTex

Hello Graduate & Ugrad Students!

Please note the upcoming LaTex tutorial Workshop. The Graduate Student Resource
Center (GSRC) presents: Technology Week.

DATE: This next Wednesday, February 10
TIME: 5:00 p.m.
PLACE: Boelter Hall 4760

LaTex is a desktop-publishing program for producing typeset papers, camera-ready
for publication. One of the most common paper-formatting tools used in
Engineering fields, LaTex is the best way to typeset articles, which is critical
for pursuing research work. Get started and learn how to incorporate headers,
tabs, charts, complex formulas & graphs into text!

This Wednesday, February 10th at 5 PM will be an orientation and overview LaTex
tutorial workshop.

If you bring your laptop to the workshop (recommended), you will be able to
install LaTex software, but a laptop is not required.

Refreshments will be served.

The workshop is in 4760 Boelter Hall.

Eudean Sun (M.S. Electrical Engineering, UCLA '09) is a veteran teacher of
LaTex.

Engineering students new to LaTex are strongly encouraged to attend to be able
to start producing journal articles.
