IEEE Week 2

Hey everyone,

Thank you to everyone who came out to our first general meeting!  We had an overwhelmingly positive & hopeful response.

GM #1 Recaps
  1. Board applications have reopened, apply hereFilm/Video, EventsPub, Corporate, Mini-Projects boards are available, but some spots fill fast!  Deadline = Friday.
  2. Study Halls begin next week, Monday thru Thursday, 10am - 5pm @ IEEE/HKN Lounge in ENGR IV 67-127.  Come meet classmates, talk about homework, and relax!
  3. USC co-event has been indefinitely postponed, due to inconvenient scheduling for Broomball Tournament
  4. Strong interest in a textbook exchange, possibly with other clubs
  5. Expect a talk on database research in February
  6. Mentorship?
Our next general meeting is Tuesday, January 26, @ 6pm, BH 4760.  Post on the forum to contribute your thoughts on what we should talk about.  Even if you haven't attended a meeting before, it's okay, we'll befriend you!
