Moog Aircraft Group Infosession
Description

It is by Moog Aircraft Group, who is currently looking for people pursuing in Electrical Engineering and possibly Mechanical Engineering to fill their FULL-TIME, PAID SUMMER POSITIONS at Torrence. Positions in Symantec
Description
Symantec is looking to hire full time positions. Candidates  need to be able to join in one month or 15 days. If you are interested, please send your resume to Sean Menezes (Sean_Menezes@symantec.com) ASAP.

We have a few positions in Symantec for Associate Software Quality Assurance Engineer. Work will involve testing software,automating software based on j2ee,java,linux,weblogic and oracle 11 g.
The domain is Symantec Licensing Backend.
We are looking for passionate candidates to work with a group of engineers team. Strong programming troubleshooting skills are preferred. Training will be provided.

These positions will have to be filled this month. Those interested please send in your resumes ASAP, so we can schedule interviews this week. All positions are based out of Culver City (West LA).

1. Professor Banquet
Date: Tuesday, April 12th 
Location: Boelter Hall 4760
Time: 6pm-7pm

Description: Vote for your new officers for the year 2011-2012! Come hear your fellow students speak to you about why you should make them a new officer. Remember to bring your IEEE membership cards. We will also be selling IEEE T-shirts ($15- members and $20-non members). And don’t miss out on the free food!

Ethics Competition

Saturday, April 16th 
Description:
Don’t miss this chance to participate in the IEEE annual Ethics competition! If you have taken a HSSEAS Ethics course you are eligible to participate in this competition. Compete against other universities from across California! The ethics competition is presentation on a particular engineering related topic that will test your ethics and also your efficiency as an engineer. A panel of judges will judge your presentation. The presentation is prepared on the spot. If you wish to participate please contact Susan at susanhuon@ieee.org

1.Northrop Grumman Campus Tour
Date:Friday, April 8th 
Time:8am-1pm
Requirement:U.S. Citizen
Description:Don’t miss this great opportunity to tour the Northrop Grumman campus! Register on our website. Please remember that being a US citizen is a requirement and you will need to bring an ID (passport, state issued ID like a driver’s license) to the tour. Feel free to bring your resumes.



2. UCLA IEEE Officer Application
Date: Monday, April 11th 
Time: Before 12pm
Required: IEEE member (Please bring your card to the meeting)
Description:

During the past year your enthusiasm and commitment has allowed IEEE to scale new heights and now it is time for a new batch of officers to shoulder the responsibility of carrying the student branch forward. Please fill it out by Monday April 11th before 12pm. We will not consider late applications, so please submit your application on time. At our next General Meeting on Wednesday April 13th you will have to make a short speech to the members of IEEE to explain why you think they should vote for you. The officer will be elected based on the majority of votes received.
