Spring Internship at LA Embedded
Are you familiar with 8-bit microcontrollers like Microchip’s PIC or Atmel’s AVR?
Have you ever written a bit banged I2C driver in C or assembly language?
Ever used the GNU Toolchain (GCC, Make, binutils)?
Do you know how to operate an oscilloscope? How about a soldering iron?
LA Embedded is looking for a qualified upper division Computer/Electrical Engineering major to intern 20 hours a week for spring quarter. Candidates must have a keen interest in electronics, good analytical skills and must work well with a team. Responsibilities include designing a bit-banged I2C driver, reading electronic schematics, maintaining source code documentation and revision control.
Compensation starts at $15/hr and moves up to $20/hr after the completion of the first 40 hours of the quarter. Schedules are flexible.
